Yes, the EGR is a nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduction technique used in petrol/gasoline and Sprinter 2.7L diesel engines. EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine’s exhaust gas back to the T1N Sprinters engine cylinders.

This EGR valve is compatible with 2004 Sprinter vans 2004 , 2005 Sprinter vans, and 2006 Sprinter vans, this includes both the 2500 and 3500 versions of the T1N Sprinter.
How to tell when my T1N EGR valve is going bad and needs to be replaced?Â
Generally on your 2003-2006 Sprinter Van , its Check Engine Light comes on to tell you that you have EGR problems. If your T1N Sprinter Van has engine performance issues then your EGR could be bad as well.
